How to prevent Coronavirus

Corona viruses are a family of viruses that was discovered in the 1960s but whose origin is still unknown. Covid-19 corona virus is classified as a mysterious virus similar to SARS and the outbreak of the disease is the responsibility of a never before seen strain belonging to a wide family of viruses that causes cold to more serious respiratory diseases. As in other viruses that cause pneumonia, when they are transmitted in humans, the infection generally occurs by the respiratory route, through the respiratory droplets that people produce when they cough, sneeze, or speak.

Some of symptoms of corona virus infections can be as follows but it will depend on the type of corona virus and the severity of the infection.
Cough 
Sore throat 
Fever 
Difficulty breathing 
Headache .
Loss of sense of smell and taste 
Chills and general discomfort 
Nasal obstruction 

Maintaining basic hygiene is the most effective way to avoid contracting this virus in places where there is a greater risk of transmission, mainly in areas where cases have been reported. It is advisable to wash your hands frequently and avoid contact with people who are already infected, especially protecting your eyes, nose and mouth. Below we provide you with tips on some preventive measures which can help you prevent this virus from spreading among people in their homes.

1. Stay at home:
It is better to restrict activities outside your house and dvoid using public transport as much as possible.

2. Avoid other people:
If possible, stay in a specific room and away from other people in your house. If possible, divide the bathroom and frequent areas to avoid constant contact.

3. Wear a mask:
It is advisable to wear a mask when you are around other people and that you cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue when you cough or sneeze. 

4. Personal Hygiene:
Maintain personal hygiene. Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or you can clean them with a hand sanitizer that contains between 60% to 95% alcohol if you coming from outside or touched anything that can carry the virus.

5. Visiting the hospital:
If you think you have the virus, call your health care provider or hospital first because it will help your health care office or hospital take steps to take preventive steps and provide you proper advise as well.

6. Avoid sharing:
It is better not to share items with other people who are in your house and after using them, you should wash everything well with soap and water.

7. Household hygiene: 
It is better to clean frequent contact surfaces such as tables, door handles, cell phones, keys, toilet, computer keyboard, TV remote control among others. Make sure you have good ventilation while cleaning to avoid breathing problems, and protect yourself from chemicals with the products you use.
